Colour space
Please submit all graphic files in a CMYK or Greyscale colour space mode. Any graphic files submitted as RGB will not be accepted. Furthermore please use the print profile ISOcoated_v2_eci.icc in order to achieve the best matching colour space. A free download of the ICC profile is available on the European Color Initiative website (www.eci.org). When using your own profiles please make sure they are embedded before saving the graphic.
RGB conversion using Visprodesign®
Please set-up your print files in a CMYK or Greyscale colour space mode. When using Visprodesign® we will additionally perform the RGB to CMYK conversion of your print files. This conversion may change the colors and final appearance of the print, leading to undesired results.
Monitor display
Monitors display as RGB and should not be used as an accurate representation of color.
Colour binding proof/Print sample
We recommend ordering a colour binding proof especially for higher quantities. You will receive an original copy from the in-house proofing system, which will be sent to you for approval. Please note that the final print quality is only comparable to a limited extent due to the different substrates. Alternatively you can order a pre-production sample in A3 size.
In digital printing you can select additional special colours according to the colour systems Pantone C or U, HKS N, RAL and solid black. Please choose "printing process" "digital printing CMYK + solid colours" in your product configuration and set-up your artwork in special colours.
Please don’t use transparency with special colours.
All fonts need to be outlined. In Adobe Photoshop the text layer can be converted using "convert to shape".

For graphic preparation we provide you with a graphic template for every product available. You can find them on every product detail page in the download section on the left side The product specific template can also be downloaded in the "My Account" "Artwork-Upload" section after the order is placed. Please select the order number and the position in question.
The template consists of two pages. On the first page of the artwork template you can find important details about the templates lines, general requirements and a sketch of the template layout. The second page is the actual template itself which needs to be used for graphic preparation in the graphic program desired.
Please use the graphic template without changing the template size or format in any way. Your artwork will fail the automated checking process if changes are detected. Template lines will guide your design process. They tell you where the safe design area is located, where sewing lines and folds of the final print are and what bleed is required. Please remove template lines once our design is completed.
